Last week the UK team joined with LMI colleagues from Ireland for two days of learning, sharing ideas and client success stories at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin.

A group of people sit round a wooden table in a restaurant, smiling and talking, with drinks and menus in front of them. Demonstrating leadership, a waiter stands nearby, interacting with the group. A staircase is visible in the background.

Following on from a fantastic gathering near Gatwick Airport last summer, these UK/IRE joint meetings have now become firmly established in the calendar, offering so much value in terms of friendship, practical learning and opportunities for effective collaboration as we serve clients across Ireland, the UK and further afield.

Highlights included hearing a client story from Dr Debbie McConnell of Eurogene, sharing her own experience of completing the LMI Effective Personal Productivity programme, and a great session from Marianne Dwyer (Karuna Counselling & Consulting) on self-care in business.

A woman stands at the front of a conference room giving a presentation on time management to eight seated attendees around a large table. There are papers, glasses, and drinks on the table, and a projector screen displays a slide behind her.

As always, just as important at these events are the good food, lots of laughter, and conversations that take place in between the organised sessions, ensuring all returned to the day-to-day work of leadership development with our clients feeling energised and equipped with new ideas and practical resources.

Huge thanks to Michael O’Donoghue and the Irish team for legendary Irish hospitatity!
