Energy giant Centrica has officially inducted its latest group of interns into its highly anticipated summer programme for 2024. The cohort, comprising both 9-week Summer Placement and Year in Industry participants, represents the company’s future talent pool.
The induction day saw the eager new recruits displaying enthusiasm and attentiveness as they embarked on their journey with the firm. Centrica expressed excitement about the fresh perspectives and inquisitive minds these bright individuals will bring to their operations.
As part of the induction, Nick Howes conducted a Making of a Champion workshop in the afternoon. This session aimed to equip the interns with fundamental success principles as they begin their professional experience at Centrica.
The company views this internship programme as a crucial pipeline for nurturing future industry leaders and is looking forward to the contributions these promising individuals will make during their time with the organisation.
It was a real honour to contribute again this year to the Centrica Summers Interns’ induction week and to share some of the leadership lessons that will help this talented group of young people to succeed in their work on the programme, their ongoing studies, and future careers.
