The Context
The relationship between Frankham and LMI began in 2006 when then CEO Steve Frankham approached LMI UK’s Roger Waplington to help develop management capability within the business to sustain and increase the growth the company was experiencing.
The goal was to achieve a more structured approach to how they led and managed their people, and interacted with clients, leading to a better business for people to be part of and overall better business results.
The Delivery
Over the years, dozens of Frankham staff, from directors and senior leaders to front-line surveyors and engineers, have completed various LMI programmes under the mentorship of Roger, taking time with each individual to understand their own strengths and style of leadership and communication. The programmes have helped them build on their strengths, develop in areas where needed, grow in confidence and impact.

The Results
The impact of the LMI development work with Frankham over the last 20 years can be summed up in ‘Growing people to grow the business.’ Many people across Frankham have grown personally and professionally through their participation in LMI programmes, and the business has grown substantially as a result including, as CEO Richard Chitty says in his video above, doubling over the last five years and probably the same in the previous five years!
