Five Young Leaders

by | Sep 17, 2019

It is tremendously exciting everytime a young person begins The Making of a Champion programme. This week saw five Year 12 students from Lanners Manners School in Bakewell, Derbyshire begin their Champion adventure.

Led by John Watkinson and supported by Silje Howes, the kick-off meeting was a great forum for discussion of ideas and the beginning of dreaming dreams and setting worthwhile goals.

The school staff member present summed up how all of us at LMI UK feel about Making of a Champion: “I just wish I’d had this amazing opportunity when I was their age!”

We can’t wait to see what these young people achieve in the next 10 weeks.
